This model, also known as a “light long-nose truck,” is the first chassis designed and produced by Mercedes-Benz after the war.
The body was built by the company Ackermann in Wuppertal.
In the 1990s, the truck was restored over a period of six years by Karosseriebau Hubert Schröder in Eschweiler.
Apart from the restoration period, the Mercedes-Benz remained registered and spent most of its time in a purpose-built garage.
The valuation report from 2011 rates the condition as 2+.
